Three freshmen from Great Falls High School were chosen to represent Montana in the 2026 Congressional App Challenge in Washington, D.C. for their creative app, "Cursive Create." This is a big deal for the school. The school is also getting a lot out of a $200,000 investment in its "House Program." This program lets students build homes for people in the area, giving them hands-on experience in the building trades. The district has officially approved a high school baseball program for the 2026 school year. This will give students more chances to play sports.
