Billings West High School's science team did very well in 2025. They won a regional competition and went on to represent Montana at the National Science Bowl in Washington, D.C. Special Olympics Montana also recognized the school on a national level for its commitment to inclusion through the Unified P.E. program, which pairs students with and without intellectual disabilities in sports. The campus is part of the "Campaign for Daylis Stadium" project, which aims to modernize facilities to make them safer and easier to get to for students and the community.
