Southaven High School is a well-known public high school in Southaven, Mississippi. It serves students in grades 9 through 12. It has about 1,900 students and a student-to-teacher ratio of about 19:1. It is known as one of the best schools in the DeSoto County School District. The school is known for its dedication to academic growth, and 27% of students take Advanced Placement (AP) courses. There are a lot of different cultures represented in the student body. 81% of students are minorities, and 61% are economically disadvantaged, and it is one of the best High School in "Mississippi" . Southaven High School has good academic results, with 68% of students being good at math and 38% being good at reading. The school helps students take the ACT and SAT to help them reach their goals after high school. The school is in a growing suburban area where the median home price reflects the growth of the community. It has a good reputation for its wide range of subjects. In general, the school stands out because it strikes a good balance between preparing students for college and teaching them core academic skills.

A senior student from Southaven High School's digital media program has earned a spot in the 2026 Disney Dreamers Academy, where they will learn real-world skills. This is a big deal for the school. The Extreme Archery Team recently came in 15th in the state, and the esports team made it to the final rounds of the Super Smash Bros. playoffs. This shows that the campus is also doing well in competitions. The school is still helping students grow academically through the new After School Tutoring program, which offers dedicated faculty support for all grade levels.
