Recently, students at Northeast Lauderdale High School took part in a one-of-a-kind design contest with a shoe company from the area. The school's programs to help students get ready for jobs are also working well. Recently, seniors had "Decision Day," when they told everyone what they were going to do after high school: go to college, trade school, or join the military. The district foundation will give teachers new grants for professional development in 2026. These grants will help teachers pay for creative projects in the classroom.
