Glendale High has about 1,400 students and a student-to-teacher ratio of about 18:1, which allows for a wide range of academic and extracurricular activities. The school is one of nine high schools in the district and is known as one of the best in the area. Glendale High has a full curriculum that includes Advanced Placement® classes, with about 9% of students taking them. The school also has programs to help students get ready for college and careers. The annual Springfield Christmas Parade was the first event of the year for Glendale High School in 2026. It gave the school a chance to show off its student groups to the community. The district's recent "Attend Today, Succeed Forever" program, which won a national award for getting students more involved, is still helping the campus. Students are also getting involved in new community-led projects that are aimed at improving the economy and getting people ready for work.
