About Conservatory of the Arts

The Conservatory of the Arts is a public charter high school in Springfield, Massachusetts, for students in grades 9 through 12. The school is supposed to give students a specialized education in the arts while also helping them do well in school. It does this by offering hard classes in math, science, and English along with programs in the visual and performing arts. The school has a low number of students and keeps the student-teacher ratio at about 10:1. This lets teachers give each student their own attention and help them with their work. The Conservatory of the Arts focuses on helping students get ready for college, building their basic academic skills, and fostering their creativity. The goal of its programs is to help students improve their academic and artistic skills. About 3% of students are good at math and about 22% are good at reading (ELA), according to the information we have. Students still get help with their schoolwork and chances to take tests that will help them get ready for college, like the SAT.
