Susan Grommesh, a science teacher at Wichita Northwest High School, recently received a $1,000 Education EDGE grant to pay for new, creative projects in her classroom. The school is also getting better security because the whole district is spending money on it. For example, they are putting in a new secure entrance to make the school safer and more welcoming for all students. The campus held a College & Career Fair to help upperclassmen figure out what to do after high school and make plans for their future.
