As part of a district-wide effort to make schools safer, Maize South High School and the nearby Maize Career Academy have recently hired a team of dedicated security officers. The school is also taking part in a new Maize USD 266 project to look into how AI tools could be used in the classroom in the future to help with modernized learning. In terms of student accomplishments, several senior athletes recently took part in National Signing Day, where they signed letters of intent to play sports and go to school at different colleges across the country.
