Blue Valley Southwest High School is having its 15th graduation ceremony this year, which is a big deal. The school is also making its campus more eco-friendly by adding a sustainable displaced air delivery system and improving the natural lighting. The school's competitive spirit was on full display when the freshmen debate team won a state championship and the ESports team made it to the finals in both Mario Kart and Rocket League. The district's 2026 Legislative priorities will also focus on getting more money to help smaller class sizes and give all students more chances to learn in specialized ways.
