Blue Valley Northwest High School is a well-known public high school in Overland Park, Kansas, that teaches grades 9 through 12. Blue Valley Northwest High School's fine arts and career-readiness programs are doing very well. For example, the school's orchestra has kept its perfect superior ranking streak going, and senior students have won top prizes in digital illustration competitions. The Blue Valley Educational Foundation recently gave the teaching staff 11 educational grants worth more than $13,000 to pay for new, hands-on projects in the classroom this school year. Students can also go to the Center for Advanced Professional Studies (CAPS), where they can learn about early career options in fields like Teacher Education and engineering.
