Olathe East Senior High recently made it into the top 20 of the prestigious Battle of the Brains STEM competition. For this competition, students created a one-of-a-kind interactive science exhibit called "Brainy Bugs" that could be shown at Union Station. The proposed 2026 Bond initiative will also help the campus. It includes plans to modernize old buildings and make high school weight rooms bigger to better support athletic development. The school also helps students become better leaders by offering more than 40 extracurricular clubs, such as robotics and drama, that give students hands-on experience outside of the classroom.
