Francis Joseph Reitz High School is one of the best schools in the area. It has a lot of Advanced Placement (AP) classes and tests, with about 47% of students taking them. It also has honors classes and programs to help students get ready for college. Francis Joseph Reitz High School recently honored its performing arts students who won gold medals at the 2026 regional solo and ensemble competitions. This semester, the school also started a new peer-mentoring program that pairs upperclassmen with freshmen to help them work together on schoolwork and become leaders in their community on "The Hill." Also, student-athletes in the wrestling program made it to the regional finals after winning a number of matches in January 2026.
