The Florida Department of Environmental Protection recently named Riverview High School a Green Ribbon school. It is the first school in the county to get this honor for being environmentally responsible. The theater department is putting on the musical Mamma Mia right now, and the student services department has started a new program called "FINS Tutoring" to help students get ready for their upcoming AP and AICE tests. The school is also celebrating the fact that it was part of the district's record-breaking 90.9% graduation rate this year.
