There are about 2,100 to 2,300 students at the school, and the student-to-teacher ratio is about 22:1, which is about the same as at other large urban-suburban high schools in the district. Everglades High School has a full college-preparatory curriculum, with Advanced Placement® (AP) courses, career and technical education programs, and a lot of extracurricular activities. Everglades High School is getting a lot of attention for its recent successes! The varsity boys basketball team recently showed off their skills on the court by beating Taravella High School and Pompano Beach High School. The school has also started a Cambridge International Program, which gives students a wide range of subjects to choose from and lets them study at their own pace. Everglades High also has a lot of student clubs and sports teams, which give students a chance to learn more about their interests.
