With its new SpaceHUB aerospace mega-magnet program, which will have brand-new classrooms and a renovated planetarium, Hialeah-Miami Lakes Senior High is reaching new heights. The program will start in 2025. The program will teach students about applied engineering, robotics, coding, and advanced aerospace science. The school's Law Academy has also opened a new courtroom where students can practice for mock trials and Model UN competitions. Students at the school have also done very well in debate tournaments, winning top honors in the Miami-Dade Urban Debate League.
