AMIkids Gainesville is working toward its 2025 strategic goals by expanding individualized learning plans and workforce development programs to help students get ready for careers after high school. Students are now taking part in a pre-apprenticeship program that gives them hands-on training in the field and the chance to get certified in things like OSHA-10 and operating a forklift. The school also still uses its "token economy" system of positive reinforcement, which lets students earn rewards for keeping up with their academic and behavioral standards during each class period.
