The Institute of Science and Technology (IST) at Overland High School just opened a new high-tech research lab for advanced chemistry and physics experiments in the 2026 term. At a recent regional conference, the school's HOSA chapter did very well. Several students qualified for the state leadership competition in medical fields. The winter sports teams are also doing well, and the basketball team is still at the top of the league.
