The Cobalt Institute of Math and Science (CIMS) is still a top STEM school. It was recently named a Project Lead the Way Distinguished School for making it easy for students to get into engineering, biomedical, and computer science programs. The school is getting ready for the 2026 Advanced Placement (AP) exam season after getting praise from the College Board for its great AP program. The campus also recently celebrated the ninth anniversary of its first graduating class.
