The $37 million Phase 2 modernization project at Chaparral High School is moving forward, and it will bring a state-of-the-art auxiliary gym, weight room, and dance studio to the school. The new buildings have a colorful mural on the outside and a big lobby that is meant to be a place for both competitive sports programs and community events to meet. Students also continue to benefit from a variety of Career Technical Education (CTE) pathways, such as specialized programs in Event Production and Health Science that give them the chance to earn college credit right away.
