Stockton Early College Academy is a top public magnet high school in Stockton, California, for students in grades 9 through 12. It is one of the best schools in the state, and all of its students take Advanced Placement® classes, which means they are learning at a very fast pace. It is one of 13 high schools in the Stockton Unified School District and has about 450 students, with a student-to-teacher ratio of about 25:1. The academy has a total minority enrollment of 96%, and 65% of the students are considered to be low-income. Proficiency data shows great success, with 85% of students reading and 54% of students doing math. Stockton Early College Academy is a tough school that lets students earn college credits while finishing their high school diplomas. It costs about $12,900 per student. It is one of the best schools, and it has a lot of potential to help motivated students do well at the most competitive colleges, and it is one of the best high school in California.

At the 2026 San Joaquin County Academic Decathlon, the Stockton Early College Academy team came in second overall and won many individual medals in subjects like social science and literature. The school is still working well with San Joaquin Delta College, which lets most of the Class of 2025 graduate with both their high school diploma and a two-year associate degree. The academy also recently held its annual scholarship and award ceremony to honor students who have worked hard to keep their grades up while also taking on tough college-level classes.
