Through its unique KIPP Forward model, which offers one-on-one college advising and career exploration starting in the ninth grade, KIPP King Collegiate continues to get students ready for success after high school. The campus recently praised the strong performances of its athletes at the CIF Oakland Section Championships and the East Bay Invitational. Several track and field athletes set new competitive season records. The school is also very dedicated to creating an inclusive environment. It does this by using a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) that includes social-emotional learning and mental health professionals who work with students every day.
