The new Screaming Eagle Stadium at Mira Mesa High School just opened. It has a state-of-the-art synthetic turf field and professional-grade track facilities for students and the community. The campus is also expanding its College, Career, and Technical Education (CCTE) program by building a new automotive technology center and more advanced broadcast journalism studios. The Sapphire Sound marching band from the school has won a lot of awards and is getting ready for big performances in the 2025–2026 season. They also represent San Diego on a national level.
