Thomas Downey High School is currently modernizing its campus by building a new, state-of-the-art aquatic complex with Olympic-standard Myrtha technology for its swim and water polo programs. The school's Career Technical Education (CTE) pathways are also growing. Recently, students in the digital media and agricultural programs won awards for their hands-on projects in their regions. The campus has also improved its sports facilities by adding a new high-performance synthetic turf field and an all-weather track, making it the best place for the Knight sports teams to practice and play.
