Latest News

Valley Atwater Community School is still working hard to help its students succeed. This school year, it has put in place a full Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) that gives each student personalized help with both their academics and their social and emotional needs. The campus is an important center for "at-promise" youth because it has a trauma-informed learning environment with wellness resources and small-group instruction that is tailored to each student's needs. Recent partnerships in the region have also helped students by giving them more access to Career Technical Education (CTE) pathways and local community service projects.
