Pueblo de Los Angeles Continuation High has started a new "Coffee with the Principal" series and a spring awards ceremony to get students more involved and honor their accomplishments. The school is also encouraging students to sign up for summer programs that will help them improve their skills and get ready for graduation and future opportunities.
Q1. Who can enroll in Pueblo de Los Angeles Continuation High School?
Ans. The school helps students who need a different place to finish high school credits and meet graduation requirements.
Q2. Are there flexible scheduling options at the school?
Ans. Yes, continuation schools usually offer flexible schedules so that students can fit their schoolwork around their other responsibilities.
Q3. Are there services for counseling and support?
Ans. Most of the time, students can get academic counseling and help to stay on track for graduation.
Q4. Are students allowed to join clubs and other activities outside of school?
Ans. There may be opportunities available depending on what students are interested in and what the district offers. However, programs are usually not as many as on larger campuses.
Q5. Is transportation provided for students?
Ans. Transportation policies follow the rules of the Los Angeles Unified School District and may be different for different people.
