Being Updated
This spring, students in the Performing Arts Community are doing well because they are going to the Pantages Theater and going on arts-related trips that help them improve their performance skills. The school also recently sent out information about upcoming events and ways for parents to get involved with the principal.
Q1. Do students have to audition to get into arts programs?
Ans. Some performing arts programs may require an audition or review of your portfolio to get in.
Q2. Does the school put on shows for the public?
Ans. Yes, students often take part in concerts, plays, and other events that families and the community can attend.
Q3. Do you offer Advanced Placement (AP) classes?
Ans. Some AP and honors classes may be available to help students get ready for college.
Q4. Do students get rides?
Ans. The Los Angeles Unified School District's rules and the student's eligibility determine what transportation options are available.
Q5. Can students take classes at both schools?
Ans. Students who meet the requirements may be able to take part in dual enrollment programs through partnerships with nearby colleges.
