New Designs Charter is still working to help students get ready for college and careers. About 95% of students graduate, and many of them meet the requirements for UC/CSU. Students also play competitive sports and take dual-credit courses, which show that they are improving academically and getting more chances to succeed in the future.
Q1. Does New Designs Charter School-Watts not charge tuition?
Ans. Yes, it is free to attend because it is a public charter school.
Q2. Does the school use technology to help students learn?
Ans. Yes, integrating technology into the classroom and project-based learning is very important.
Q3. Are there any internships or career paths?
Ans. The school has programs that focus on careers and may offer internships that help students get ready for the job market.
Q4. What help is there for getting ready for college?
Ans. Students get help with things like applying to college, getting financial aid, and getting ready for tests like the SAT.
Q5. Does the school provide tutoring after school?
Ans. Yes, there are tutoring and academic support programs that can help students do better in school.
