Wilson High School offers a college-preparatory curriculum that includes Advanced Placement (AP) classes, honors classes, and electives in the arts, humanities, and STEM fields. After several fights and loud lunchtime gatherings outside Wilson High School's campus, police were called and security was called in to look into the situation. This has led to talks about school safety and student behavior as Long Beach Unified looks for new ways to improve the climate on campus and relations with the community.
