Fairfield is a city with about 120,000 people that is growing. It is located between San Francisco and Sacramento and is known for its mix of farming history and suburban growth. Travis Air Force Base is in the city, which affects the way people live there and makes them feel like they are part of a strong community and patriotism. There are California Distinguished Schools in the local school district. These schools are known for their academic growth and support for students.
