El Cajon Valley High School is getting a lot of attention in the area for its Model Community School programs, which offer a wide range of services, such as a community garden, an on-site restaurant classroom, and health resources for families. The campus has recently undergone a lot of modernization. For example, Building 700 has been turned into a state-of-the-art Art and Media Complex with studios for video production and photography. The California Community Schools Partnership Program is also helping the school give students more chances by making it easier for them to get integrated student supports.
