About North Orange County ROP

The North Orange County ROP in Anaheim, California, is a public program that helps high school students from different districts in North Orange County get ready for jobs. "This program is mostly for kids in grades 9–12. It's more important to teach them real-world job skills than the usual school subjects. How many kids are in a class and how many teachers are there? It depends on where you are and what class it is. ROP offers a lot of career technical education (CTE) classes. There are pathways in a lot of fields, including health sciences, business, IT, cooking, and even fixing cars. This prepares them for entry-level jobs or for going to college after high school. North Orange County ROP is a regional program, which means it helps a lot of students from high schools in Anaheim and the towns around it. We don't have math or reading test scores because our main goal is to get people ready for work, not just regular schoolwork. Students can still take the SAT or other college entrance tests at their own high school.
