Little Rock Central High School just opened its new 67,000-square-foot Science Wing. This is the first major academic building to be added to the historic campus in decades. This building has modern labs, and there is also a new "Principal in Residence" leadership program that will help with campus supervision and student support as the school moves into its new, larger space. In addition, the school celebrated an important academic achievement when several students were named National Merit Semifinalists. This shows how much the community values academic excellence.
