Baker High School started the new year with its annual Academy Night, which showed off the specialized pathways in its Signature Academy that get students ready for high-paying, in-demand jobs. The fine arts department is still doing great. Recently, a number of students qualified for the state finals of the Walter S. Trumbauer High School Festival and got spots in the Alabama All-State Choir. The athletic department is also starting a new chapter with the hiring of a new head football coach for the 2025 season.

Ans. Baker High School has a wide range of Advanced Placement (AP) classes that are hard for students and give them college credit.

Ans. Alabama colleges require the ACT, so students in school benefit from having specific days set aside for it.
Q3. Are there activities outside of school that cater to a wide range of interests?
Ans. There are a lot of clubs and sports teams that have won championships that students can join to help them grow as people.

Ans. The campus has modern labs and technology projects that get students interested in science and engineering.

Ans. School kids can join well-known band, choir, and visual arts programs that show off their creative skills.
