Eastside Elementary was officially dedicated as a Certified Kindness School in February 2025. The designation made the school one of 110 worldwide to receive the certification and followed a student-led effort initiated by Tracey Burton’s fifth-grade class, which created a Kindness Rock Garden at Lincoln School Park.
