Aspen Early Learning Center

Aspen's Early Learning Centre is one of the top schools, located in Riverton, WY, and provides PK-K level education for children. This facility has a very low student-to-teacher ratio that is about 10:1 to provide more individualized teaching for each student. Out of 222 students enrolled, approximately 51% are recognized as being economically disadvantaged based on their Early Learning Standards (ELS) assessments that show promising levels of reading and math skills. The Centre emphasizes the importance of developing basic literacy and numeracy skills for success in school. Of all the enrolled children, 51% are males and 49% are females. Due to the center's strong community support, the staff at Aspen work in an atmosphere characterized by kindness and family support. Many families living near the Centre have average incomes and can afford to purchase homes priced between $200,000 and $250,000. The staff are trained in early childhood development, have a reputation for compassion, and create a safe, supportive, and friendly environment where children are encouraged to develop confidence, curiosity, and positive behaviors.

December 9–10 and November 12 in 2025, the Aspen Early Learning Center named Eisley Whitaker Student of the Week and had fun holiday projects for the kids.

The main focus on curriculum content specifically in primary education settings is on developing the social & emotional skills necessary for children to become competent & confident adults; developing the skills of literacy/numeracy and preparing them emotionally to be ready when entering primary school and secondary schools as well.

A. Every day, students at The Aspen Center are provided with healthy snacks in accordance with “District Nutrition Guidelines”.
