As part of its goals for the current school year, Sunflower Elementary School in Gillette has been working on getting students more involved and improving learning in the classroom. Teachers are putting more emphasis on helping students improve their reading and writing skills, as well as their basic skills. They are doing this by using small-group instruction and classroom interventions to better meet the needs of each student.
