Being Updated
This school year, Pronghorn Elementary School in Gillette has gotten a lot of good press for its strong academic performance and supportive classroom environment. Teachers say they are still working hard to keep math and reading lessons up to high standards. They use test scores to plan lessons and help students when they need it.
The school has also started schoolwide programs that encourage responsibility, teamwork, and good behavior to help students become leaders and grow as people. Families have been asked to come to school events and activities in the classroom. This has made the link between home and school stronger and has helped students learn outside of school.
