Lubeck Elementary School is a public school in Parkersburg, West Virginia, that teaches kids from preschool to fifth grade. The Wood County Schools district includes it. The school has about 290 students and about 12 students for every teacher. This means that teachers can focus on each student and help them with what they need. Lubeck Elementary School has a regular elementary school curriculum, but it also has extra programs that help kids learn to read, write, and do math, as well as programs that help them learn about their feelings and how to get along with others. About 92% of the students are White, but there are also a few Hispanic and multiracial students (about 8%). Based on academic performance data, 32 to 36 percent of students are good at math and 35 to 39 percent are good at English language arts. This puts the school very close to the state average for proficiency. The amount of money spent on each student is normal for the district, which makes sure that there are enough resources for teaching and support services. The Parkersburg area has stable housing prices and a safe place to live, which makes it a good place for families to live. In general, Lubeck Elementary School has a steady educational program, dedicated teachers, and works hard to help students do better.
