The district recently gave Watson Elementary School the green light to make improvements to its buildings, which will include a new roof and fixing up old ones. The planned renovations are meant to make the school safer and more comfortable for everyone.
The school also started a new after-school program called "Future Girl Scouts" that gives kids more chances to learn and grow outside of regular class hours.
