Sunnyside Elementary School was presented with its “Schools on the Rise” award banner on October 29. The honor was given by the Association of Washington School Principals and the Association of Washington Student Leaders.

Ans.Sunnyside Elementary has a lot of activities outside of school, like music, art, student leadership clubs, after-school tutoring, and sports that change with the seasons. These activities are meant to encourage teamwork and creativity.
Q2.Are there any programs at Sunnyside Elementary School for kids with special needs?
Ans.Yes, the school has individualized education programs (IEPs) and other support services for students with special needs. This makes sure that all students have the same chances to learn.
Q3.How does Sunnyside Elementary get parents to help with school events?
Ans.The school encourages parents to get involved by giving them chances to volunteer, having family engagement nights, and having a Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) that helps with school events and raising money.
Q4.What kinds of technology do kids at Sunnyside Elementary have?
Ans. The classroom has Chromebooks, interactive whiteboards, and digital learning platforms that help kids learn math, reading, and STEM subjects.
Q5. What kinds of transportation do students have?
Ans.The Marysville School District runs buses for some students along certain routes. Parents can also drop off and pick up their kids for their own convenience.
