Kentlake High School is working hard to give its students a well-rounded education by having them take part in a variety of extracurricular activities. Selmer Music Co. held the "Big Bad Voodoo Daddy Contest" and the school's jazz ensemble won it. The school also has Advanced Placement (AP) classes and classes from the University of Washington, which help students learn more. The boys' basketball team at Kentlake also did well, beating Kent-Meridian High School 67-56 in a game.
