Nautilus K-8, a middle school, partnered with Woodmont K-8 to announce the start of the FWPS K-8 News Network. Middle school students captured the project-based learning occurring in their English Language Arts classes and created podcasts and videos based on topics such as innovation and risk-taking.

Q1: How do I sign my child up for Nautilus Elementary?

A: To enroll, you bring in the child's birth certificate, documents proving you are a resident, the child's shot records and any records from their last school. The enrollment office will assist you through the process of signing up for Nautilus Elementary.

Q2: What does it look like inside the school?

A: Nautilus Elementary has modern classrooms, computer labs, playgrounds, a library, a gym and safe entrances. It is a great environment for kids to learn and play.

Q3: Is Nautilus Elementary a STEM school, or school that has Science and Math classes?

A: Yes, they do stay aligned and teach science, technology, engineering and math in every day life. They do projects, science experiments, group projects to help encourage students to think for themselves and innovate.

Q4: Are the teachers at Nautilus Elementary good?

A: They are very qualified, compassionate and enthusiastic about teaching. They will provide one on one assistance to each student as needed, and make the classroom fun for all of the students to be successful and make friends.

Q5: Does my kid have the option of staying at school before or after school?

A: Yes, they provide a supervised program before and after school. The staff helps kids with their homework, plans activities and assures students are supervised and safe.
