The goal of Newport City Elementary School's recent green infrastructure improvement project was to keep stormwater from running off and protect local waterways. The project also got students involved in hands-on learning about the environment, which improved science education and raised awareness of environmental issues in the Newport community.

Ans. Yes, Newport City Elementary School does follow the district's transportation rules and does provide bus service to students who live in the school's attendance area and are eligible.
