Being Updated
The school really cares about fairness, diversity, and inclusion. For instance, older students are paired with younger ones in a buddy system that promotes friendship and mentoring. Parents are also involved by going to school events and discussion groups. The Lawrence Barnes Sustainability Academy is helping the Burlington community learn more about the environment and how to be more environmentally friendly. The school is a great place for kids to grow and do well because it teaches them about social and emotional issues, how to be a good person, and how to get involved in the community.
