The district has 12 high schools, and Salem High School is one of the highest-performing schools.

Salem High School's new programs are making a difference! Starting this fall, the school will offer two new career paths: Health Sciences (Nursing) and Hospitality and Human Services (Culinary Arts). These paths will give students valuable industry knowledge and certifications. The Forensics Team also won the 15th VHSL State Title, which shows how good they are. Mark Ingerson, the team's coach, was also chosen for the VHSL Hall of Fame, which shows how dedicated and skilled he is.
