Q1. I would like to enroll my child at Armstrong Elementary. What do I need to do?

A1. You will have to provide a residency document, your child's birth certificate, immunization records, and any other documents from their previous school. If you have any questions, the school office will assist.


Q2. Does Armstrong have a before-school program?

A2. Yes! If parents wish to drop their student off early, Armstrong offers activities for kids to complete until class starts.


Q3. What is my child going to learn?

A3. Armstrong provides students with instruction based on the Commonwealth of Virginia's standards of learning. That includes a focus on reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies. In addition to the academic instruction, Armstrong educates students to learn to think for themselves.


Q4. How can I get involved in the school?

A4. There are many ways! You can join the PTA, be a volunteer in the classroom, or volunteer during special events.


Q5. What does Armstrong have to offer?

A5. Armstrong has a library, a computer lab, and a gym. Armstrong also has play areas, which will provide children safe play areas where the kids have fun.
