In March 2025, Fort Hunt held its annual school-wide Spelling Bee, showcasing student achievement in literacy.
For the 2025–26 academic year, Fort Hunt implemented eight early-release Wednesdays, with dismissal at 12:40 pm, replacing prior early-release Mondays.
