Hunter Jr High and John F. Kennedy Jr High were jointly recognized by the Utah State Board of Education in 2025 as Utah Middle Schools of Excellence. This award celebrates their outstanding success in helping multilingual learners reach their annual growth goals in language proficiency and academic achievement.
