The Granite School District board has approved a change: starting in the 2025–26 school year, 6th grade will move from elementary schools like Granger to junior high schools in the west-side networks.
Q1. What programs at Granger Elementary help students learn?
Ans. The school offers Title I support, ELL programs, and small-group interventions to help students do better in school.
Q2. How many different types of students are there?
Ans. About 73% of the students are from minority groups, mostly Hispanic, which shows that the school is culturally diverse.
Q3. Does Granger Elementary have programs that help kids learn about their feelings and how to get along with others?
Ans, Yes, the school uses SEL programs and positive behavior supports to help students become more emotionally intelligent and strong.
Q4. What can families do to help at the school?
AAns. Parents and guardians can volunteer, go to school events, and meet with teachers.
Q5. Are there any resources for students who need extra help with their schoolwork?
Ans. Yes, students can get help with math and reading through tutoring, enrichment programs, and targeted interventions.
