West High School is currently upgrading its historic campus by adding new interactive technology to the science department to support its specialized biomedical pathway. The school recently won big prizes in regional math and debate contests. This shows how hard its International Baccalaureate program is. The students have also started a new community-based project to improve sustainability. Its goals are to create more green spaces and clean up the air in cities.
